Curator Agata Rogos will focus her presentation on the Wyspa Institute of Art, the first private institute for contemporary art in Poland. Founded by the Wyspa Progress Foundation in 2004, the institute is set at the premises of the former shipyard in Gdańsk, the place where the workers’ movement “Solidarność” took its beginnings.
We will get acquainted with the arts scene in Gdańsk and its participatory projects set in the specific social and political context with its historic landmarks.
