2012, interactive object

A cardboard box with a thin slot on the upper part. The object is positioned in a place that would attract and invite the audience to insert their written complaints. What the audience discovers at that moment is that the box contains a shredder that destroys the inserted messages.

The work was premiered at the group exhibition Strategies of Remembering #1, held in the home of the Macedonian art critic Nebojša Vilić and organized by Kooperacija Initiative.

Its second version was exhibited at Antonio G. Lauer – The International Meeting of Artists held in Štaglinec, Croatia. The object was transformed into a survey box that “collects” the audience’s statements and reflections on the notion of democracy.
