2006, digital print, 120cm X 170cm, developed for the group exhibition Cataclysm and Creativity: Art in the Age of Uncertainty organized by Тhe Museum of Contemporary Arts (Skopje) and Weil Gallery (Corpus Christi, Texas)
The end of the 20th and the beginning of the 21st century was a period of particular interest for art coming from the Balkan countries. A few keywords proved particularly attractive: war, cataclysm, catastrophe, dust, blood, terror.
Addressing this voyeuristic safe distance, we purchased two images from a commercial micro-stock database. Apart from the contextualization, the images are exhibited without further intervention by OPA.
